Abstract
The dusty winds of the accreting T Tauri stars cause the irregular light variability, including the episodes of long-lasting fading of T Tauri stars. We suggest, that the mass ejections related to the dynamical processes in the magnetospheres of T Tauri stars influence the geometry of the dusty disk wind, which results in variation of circumstellar extinction. From a series of simultaneous photometric and spectroscopic observations of RY Tau we found a tight correlation between the wind velocity and stellar brightness, and prove that the dusty screen responsible for the brightness variability lies at about 0.2 AU from the star, which corresponds to the dust sublimation distance.
