Abstract
The solar system planets and some major satellites have atmospheres that show a rich variety of motions and complex dynamical processes. In this talk I will review, in a comparative view, our current knowledge of the global circulation and major atmospheric phenomena in these bodies with an extension to the exoplanets atmospheres.
