Abstract
The Atacama Large (sub-)Millimetre Array (ALMA) has already unveiled many breakthrough science results, despite being an "incomplete" observational facility. With the third call for proposals fast approaching, I will go through the latest ALMA results, the science which it is expected to address (from our own solar system to the very far away Universe), and the array's capabilities which make it possible.
