Abstract
In an effort to begin polarimetric research opportunities in astrophysics in Lebanon, I designed an imaging polarimeter, BeePol (Wehbe, 2015) , during my MSc thesis at Notre Dame University(NDU). It is based on the IMPOL polarimeter (Ramaprakash et. al, 1998) with the introduction of a wedged double Wollaston (WeDoWo) prism (as described by Oliva, 1997), allowing for the simultaneous measurement of the I, Q, and U Stokes parameters. In this seminar, I will present the first results of the testing, and commissioning phase of BeePol done during May and June 2017 at NDU's Observatory.
