How to reach the city from the airport
The international airport of Lisbon – Aeroporto Humberto Delgado – is located inside the city and it has a subway stop, bus stops and taxi stop. So it’s easy to reach the city center quickly and comfortably, at any time.
In subway station, you need to buy a “Viva Viagem” eletronic card (0,50€) on the vending machine and charge it. This card can be recharged for one year. “Viva Viagem” can be loaded with the following types of transport tickets:
- Metro journey (single ride ticket valid on each operator’s network) – 1,65€
- Carris (bus or tram)/Metro ticket – 1,65€
- 1 day ticket (24H): Carris/Metro 6,60€ and Carris/Metro/ CP (urban train) 10,70€
- Zapping rate: Metro journey – 1,47€

From the airport: take the red line Aeroporto and change to the green line in Alameda. Get out in Campo Grande.

There are many bus stops in the surroundings and a bus terminal in Campo Grande (5min walking distance). The best strategy is to ask google for the best bus to take from your location or access the website

By Taxi
Ask to get to the “Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa” or “FCUL”. Uber, Bolt and Cabify also works in the city of Lisbon.
From the airport: It takes about 15 min (traffic dependent) and it will likely cost about 8€ or 10€ (there are extra fees to this if you put luggage in the truck). The best choice to get a taxi at the airport is to take one from in front of the Departures.
