IA is the major institution for Astrophysics and Space Sciences research in Portugal. With a consolidated strategy that encompasses a leadership position in major ESA and ESO state-of-the-art scientific and instrumentation projects, IA is key for the success of the national strategy in this area. The contribution from all IA members has been fundamental for this success. Communication is paramount in this effort.

The IA-ON3 meeting marks another internal annual meeting of the IA team, where the progress of the research, outreach, and management activities will be discussed. With the participation of all IA members, IA-ON3 will be a golden opportunity to discuss the IA’s strategy and make further improvements, as well as to foster synergies between IA groups across all activity areas.
