Biographic Notes
William is a post-doctoral researcher in CAUP since early February 2024 working in the planet group. He studied for a bachelor’s degree in Physics and for a master’s degree in space sciences at the University of Liège in Belgium. After that, he studied for a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and diluted media at the University of Grenoble Alpes, France, in collaboration with the Observatory of Geneva, Switzerland.

In CAUP he is working on the characterisation and better understanding of the impact of stellar contamination in high-resolution transit observations. Through planetary transit simulations, his works aims to help better characterise exoplanet atmospheres.
