Pedro Pina is associate professor at the Earth Sciences Department from the University of Coimbra. His main research interests are focused on looking for patterns on planetary surfaces through remote sensing. He is particularly interested in integrating multisource and multiscale imagery to enlarge the multitemporal monitoring of surface patterns and processes. The interest on using terrestrial analogues from polar regions has driven him to lead and participate regularly in field campaigns in Antarctica and the Arctic.
