Biographic Notes
Francisco Lobo is a researcher at the IA and Assistant Professor with Habilitation at the Department of Physics of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. He graduated in Physics from the University of Lisbon in 1994, has a Master's degree from the University of Lisbon obtained in 1998 and completed his PhD from the University of Lisbon in 2005. He has been a member of the IA since its inception.

Current research interests include: Modified theories of gravity; energy and dark matter models; black holes; cosmology and inflationary models; exact solutions of Einstein's equations; Lorentzian wormholes and the causal structure of spacetime; analog models; quantum inequalities and quantum field theory.

He is a member of Euclid and LISA. He is the current coordinator of the IA.
