The position is offered in the context of the project "a Generation of Earth-ANalogs Exploration Spectrographs - G.EANES", funded by FEDER - Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional through COMPETE2020 - Programa Operacional Competitividade e Internacionalização (POCI), and by Portuguese funds through FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia in the framework of the project POCI-01-0145-FEDER-0321113.

Following the goals of the project, the researcher is expected to contribute significant effort to the participation of the team in exoplanet research projects using high resolution spectrographs such as ESPRESSO, NIRPS, and SPIROU. In particular, the candidate should be able to contribute to at least one of the following aspects: measurement and analysis of precise radial velocities in the near-IR (NIR) and usage of NIR observations to characterize and correct for stellar activity, typical of young stars. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience on the aforementioned topics.
