Abstract
Astronomy and Society are intertwined in a complex relationship, with astronomy providing both scientific knowledge and cultural inspiration, while society shapes the priorities and funding of astronomical research. Astronomy's impact on society is multifaceted, ranging from technological advancements to philosophical inquiries about our place in the universe. During this talk will provide an overview of current perspectives on the relationship between astronomy and society, exploring the ways in which astronomy influences society and how society shapes astronomy. It will discuss the role of the astronomy community in education, public engagement, and cultural representation, as well as the ethical and societal implications of astronomical discoveries and space exploration. By exploring these issues, this talk aims to foster a deeper understanding of the complex and dynamic relationship between astronomy and society.
