Abstract
The 100th anniversary of both the International Astronomical Union and the Eddington expedition that verified the General Theory of Relativity has provided a powerful opportunity to design a program to excite students about science. In this talk I will describe my thought process as I examined the need for this education program, the intended audience, and the approach. I will also describe some of the important challenges to the program that we still need to confront. I hope to give a sense of how one might approach an educational problem and how one might determine the "success" of a project. I also hope to get you involved in this global cornerstone IAU100 program in a way that is rewarding for you.
