Abstract
Gravitational theories have received increased attention during the last years. The last observational cosmological advances have inspired a large number of theoretical models that attempt to explain them. Among other modifications of Einstein's General Relativity, there are the f(R) theories, whose action depends on a general form of the scalar curvature.
