Abstract
The lecture will review the evolution of manned space missions, considering aspects related to the adaptation of man to the cosmic environment, the daily life of astronauts during space missions and the measures used to counter the negative effects of microgravity on human physiology. The lecture will also address future space plans, such as the growth of space tourism, the return of manned missions to the Moon and the first human spaceflight to Mars. In addition, the MicroG, PUCRS will be presented with a view to future partnerships and collaborations.
