Abstract
Interpreting the frequency spectrum of rapidly rotating stars is a long standing unsolved problem of stellar seismology, that prevents a detailed seismic diagnostic of typical intermediate-mass and massive stars. The quality of the spatial data together with the advances in modelling bring fresh perspectives towards a successful comparison between theory and observation.
I shall present recent progresses in modelling the effects of rapid rotation on stellar oscillation modes and their possible application to the mode identification problem.
