Abstract
In this talk, I will present the main characteristics and behaviours of inflation involving several light scalar fields. This class of models is very interesting as it is favored by basic principles of fundamental physics. The important question to ask then is whether or not models of this type have observational signatures allowing them to be distinguished from single field models of inflation. This talk will focus on recent attempts to address this issue.
