Abstract
Observational data show that a large fraction of the open clusters will not survive over 100Myr. This phenomenon is known as "infant mortality". During the SACY survey, we found that the young nearby association Argus presents similarities with the young open cluster IC2391, forming a halo of stars around a more compact concentration of the bona-fide cluster members. Are we witnessing an on-going disruption of an open cluster in our backdoor? In my talk I will discuss this possibility and the evidences in favor of it.
