Abstract
Theory of high-mass star formation predict specific features: formation of near-equal binary systems, radiation Rayleigh-Taylor instabilities, bloated photosphere. The goals of this project are to use the cutting edge facilities such as VLT, ALMA, JWST, and VLTI-GRAVITY to observationally zoom-in on the nearest targets to examine them at a few hundred AU scales and test/confront theoretical scenarios.
