Abstract
CoAstro: @n Astronomy Condo is CS project that add to scientific goals, science communication and science education goals. It engaged nine teachers, five astronomers, four science communicators and one mediator – the project manager. Such engagement directly led astronomy to more than 980 participants (students, parents and other school community elements). To access CoAstro we conducted a case study. In this we studied scientific research outputs and also, changes in professional practices and personal skills, unveiling CS also as a method for science communication and science education.
