Abstract
Cosmography is useful in studying the possibility of spacetime variations of ‘fundamental constants’. The needed data comes from high-resolution spectroscopy, both of astrophysical systems and atomic clocks. In our research, we have done a global analysis of the existing measurements of the fine-structure constant alpha, the proton-to-electron mass ratio, mu, and the proton gyromagnetic ratio gp. This leads to individual constrains for each constant. Focusing on alpha, we studied its cosmographic series, which leads to constrains on specific cosmological models.
