Abstract
A presentation on the SWEET-Cat project and the code built during the PEEC to aid improving it. Sweet-Cat is a big library of stellar parameters derived homogeneously. Since it is continuously updated, stellar spectra from where the parameters shall be derived need to be obtained, at least, in an automatized way. These spectra can be found in different archives (like ESO, HARPSN etc) making it harder to automatize the downloads. The highly flexible methodology used in the code to do so is to be discussed. It operates by interacting with the HTML of the site in order to send and extract information. An interesting feature is that the code can easily be altered to perform any other task on any other website since it reproduces the user keyboard and mouse commands.
