Abstract
So far mostly multi-band photometric transit observations have been used to retrieve broadband transmission spectra of transiting exoplanet in order to study their atmosphere. An alternative method had been proposed and has been used only once to recover transmission spectra using chromatic Rossiter–McLaughlin observations. It has been shown that stellar activity that could mimic narrow and broad-band features in the transmission spectra retrieved from multi-band photometric observations.
In this talk, I will present how chromatic Rossiter-McLaughlin observations are affected by stellar activity.
