Abstract
As the Planck mission ends the European cosmology community is already actively working on the next generation early universe space mission. This is currently embodied in the COrE+ collaboration, whose aim is to explore our cosmic origins (from the origin of stars and large-scale structures to that of the Universe itself) through high-sensitivity, full sky observations of the polarized microwave and sub-mm sky. In this cookie I will briefly present its science case and requirements in a reasonably non-technical way.
