3rd Galaxies Day @IA
14-16 June 2023, Porto, Portugal
The goal of this meeting is to offer to all IA researchers and students the opportunity of following the research carried out by the Galaxies Group, provide a synopsis of the midterm scientific goals of our team, discuss the opportunities arising with future instruments and observing facilities (e.g., MOONS, JWST, Euclid, SKA, BlueMUSE, Athena), explore possibilities for synergy with other IA Groups, and foster exchange of knowledge and scientific discussion.
The sessions on MOONS and SMBH growth (Wednesday) and Euclid and integral field spectroscopy studies (Thursday) will open with a ~20 min overview, followed by discussion, and may include short (5-10 min) presentations that may be given by various team members - both students and researchers.
An additional opportunity to present new results or questions related to individual team member's research, and to discuss new ideas/projects will be on Thursday afternoon (15:00-16:30).
