Abstract
In this work we present information about some of the properties of the cores of solar-like pulsators obtained when studying their oscillation frequencies. We analyse three diagnostic tools suggested in the literature, that correspond to particular combinations of frequencies with different mode degrees, and we study the link between these tools and the inner properties of the stars. Moreover, we analyse the dependence of the frequency slopes of the diagnostic tools, hence some of the properties of the core, on the mass and age of the stars. To perform this work we use stellar models and their computed oscillation frequencies. We show that our results can be applied to real stars if we have high precision oscillation frequencies.
