Abstract
The A5p star KIC8677585 was observed during the Kepler 10-d commissioning run with the 1-min time resolution. The star shows several oscillation frequencies in the range typical of roAp pulsators, as well as a single frequency in the range typical of γ Dor stars. If confirmed, the combination of these two types of pulsations, never seen before in other roAp stars, has potential to provide unprecedented information regarding the internal structure of magnetic peculiar stars.
From the analysis of the 10 days of Kepler data we determined two possible ranges for the large frequency separation. Combining that with fundamental parameters determined from a spectrum acquired with the instrument HERMES at the Mercator Telescope on La Palma, a first model of the Star was made. In this talk we will show the results of that modelling and discuss how additional seismic and non-seismic data on this star are necessary to pin down its mass and evolution state, and to model the main properties of its interior.
