Abstract
Four-dimensional thick brane constructions supported by a massless three-form in a five-dimensional bulk space will be
presented. The residual Poincaré symmetry is realised resorting to a combination of the bulk symmetries and the internal
gauge symmetry of the field. It will be shown that such branes are prone to gradient instabilities. Such result is confirmed
by transitioning to the shift-symmetric scalar field dual representation. Finally the model is extended by considering the
case of de Sitter and Anti de Sitter branes.
