Biographic Notes
Manuel Adler Abreu is a researcher at IA/the Physics Department of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. He was awarded a first degree in PHYSICS Engineering by the University Nova de Lisboa in 1989, and a PhD by the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon in 1996. He is a member of IA since 2015.

Current research interests focus on Optical Instrumentation for Astronomy and Space. Currently member of the Payload team on the Plato and Ariel ESA missions, coordinating the activities of IA in the hardware development, and member of the team for MOONS, NIRPS and HIRES (ESO).
