Abstract
I introduce the Chinese Large sky Area Multi-Object fiber Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST) and its application to the observations of selected stars in the Kepler field of view. I outline the method of the analysis which will be used to derive the atmospheric parameters of those stars, and I show the first results obtained for the Kepler targets observed with LAMOST in summer 2010.
